For Who EMBA?
The Executive MBA program is addressed to professionally active persons with:
- at least 5 years of experience as a manager (managers, leaders and project coordinators, entrepreneurs),
- diplomas of higher education (domestic or foreign) for university-level studies culminating in a bachelor’s, engineer’s and/or master’s degree
- keen interest in acquiring new knowledge and skills as a driver of continuous development of their managerial competences,
- willingness to share their professional experience and ability to gain insight from diverse experiences of other people,
- intent on obtaining academic education, a master diploma or post-graduate certificate in Master of Business Administration , and the Executive MBA certificate under the EMBA Program.
The program is open to people who have completed various fields of study, are of different age segments, have professional experience in business and business-related organizations with varying activity profiles.
They come from various sub-ethnic countries, without any prejudice for gender, political and religious beliefs, without regard to their family status, but with focus on respecting the diversity of others.
Goals of the program
Overall goal of the program:
The primary objective of the educational offerings of the Executive MBA master degree (or post-graduate) program is to provide students with the complementary knowledge and skills necessary to formulate, analyze and solve real-world problems of the organization in a changing internal and external environment.
Specific Objectives:
- Gain a solid grounding in the main areas of business, such as marketing, production, finance, accounting, human resource management, corporate strategy and policy.
- Understanding the environments of different organizations, the mechanisms of their operation.
- Develop the ability to work and communicate in a team and lead teamwork.
- Acquire relevant analytical, planning and operational skills that may be needed in complex practical situations.
- Develop the ability to quickly and realistically conceptualize decision-making problems and accurately assess the immediate and distant effects of decisions.
- Acquire the ability to continuously learn and use modern scientific methods and IT tools to support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Acquire the knowledge and skills needed to interact in a multicultural environment, carry out leadership tasks in an international environment.
Modules
The Executive MBA program offers students two study paths: Polish and International (in English). Each path covers a period of two years (4 semesters), and courses are conducted in the form of weekend classes (Saturdays and Sundays) in groups of ca. 30 people. Each semester consists of several thematic modules which cover two or three subjects. There are approximately 10-weekend sessions each semester. The entire educational cycle extends over two consecutive academic years and consists of ca. 680 class sessions (1 session = 45 minutes). To successfully complete the Executive MBA program and obtain a master’s degree (or post-graduate certificate), students are required to complete all the courses provided in the program and defend their master’s thesis (the final project in case of post-gradutae course) by the end of semester IV.

Semester 1
Organizational Behavior
Organizational Behavior modules contain elements and skills in the field of organizational methods and techniques as well as control factors.
Management
The Management module covers knowledge and skills in the field of: business management, business legal environment, business decisions and project management.
Intercultural and International business (PL lub EN)
The module covers management in an international environment. It allows you to better understand the specifics of negotiations and management in multicultural teams. It also introduces practical international trade in the field of settlements, logistics, order processing and business etiquette.
Classes are conducted in English.
Economics
The Economics module includes knowledge and skills in the field of: managerial economics, macroeconomic analysis and behavioral economics.
Sustainable Development
The Sustainable development module includes knowledge and skills in the field of: Corporate governance, Corporate governance and Ethics and social responsibility of organizations.
Ethics and corporate social responsibility
Ethics and corporate social responsibility module covers knowledge and skills in the field of organizations responsibility for the business, and all aspects of ethics.
Semester 2
Designing Scientific Research
The aim of the course is to introduce you to the essential methodological foundations, procedures and tools of conducting research. The subject was prepared to support students in the process of preparing master’s theses in the field of social sciences.
Human Capital Management
The Human Capital Management module includes knowledge and skills in the field of strategic human resources management and personal development workshops
Operational Management
The Operational Management module covers knowledge and skills in the field of production and service management and quality management.
Strategies in Business
The Business Strategy module covers knowledge and skills in strategic management and supply chain management.
Finance and Accounting
The Finance and Accounting module covers knowledge and skills in the field of: managerial accounting, corporate finance and reporting and analysis.
Semester 3
Transformations in Business
The Transformations in Business module covers knowledge and skills in the field of: change management and business simulation. The subject is also taught in English: Digital transformations and innovations
Marketing and Communication
The Marketing and Communication module covers knowledge and skills in the field of marketing and relationship management and communication in business.
Organization Leadership
The Organization Leadership module covers knowledge and skills in the field of leadership.
Business Modules 1, 2
During their studies, second-year students participate in selected business modules, which are carried out by academic staff in cooperation with practitioners. Each module includes the following activities:
- a study visit in a selected enterprise (optional),
- theoretical classes ran by experienced research/didactic personnel,
- practical courses with business practitioners,
- a business project in which students will solve a problem prepared by a practitioner (in cooperation with research/didactic staff of the WUEB),
- defense of the project.
Master seminar
A module during which meetings with promoters are held.
Semester 4
Enterpreunership
The Enterpreunership module includes knowledge and skills related to start-up creation or establishing own company.
Strategic Business Game
The Strategic Business Game Module includes the Business Simulation Center Game

Swiss Gateway to International Business
The Swiss Gateway to International Business is a module covering a several-day visit to the University of Neuchatel
Education costs
POLISH-LANGUAGE VARIANT
10 900 PLN per semester (43 600 PLN total)
Studies in Polish possibility of taking part in the Swiss Gateway to International Business module (conducted in English) for an additional fee
INTERNATIONAL VARIANT
13 900 PLN per semester (55 600 PLN total)
International option (studies in English) – includes the Swiss Gateway to International Business module (Optionally, this module may be replaced with an equivalent module conducted at another foreign university.)
The Swiss Gateway to International Business module is carried out at the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland (the price includes accommodation, meals and teaching materials). Own transport costs.
Tuition fees can be paid in installments or in full. The fee for the first semester must be paid by October 15 this year.
If a student pays the tuition fee for the entire semester in advance (within one installment), he or she is entitled to a 5% discount.
Fees for Executive MBA studies are made to individual student accounts (IKR).
