FBC: „Logistyka kosmiczna i międzyplanetarne łańcuchy dostaw a zrównoważona eksploracja kosmosu”

The last two weeks before Christmas at UEW were spent in a truly festive and cosmic atmosphere. On the one hand, reflection on the future of logistics and interplanetary supply chains, and on the other, the aroma of homemade gingerbread accompanying our meetings with EMBA students.

On December 19, another meeting of the Friday Business Club series took place at the Wrocław University of Economics, in a hybrid format – on-site in room 213 in the Z UEW building and online in MS Teams.

Our guest was Dr. Anna Baraniecka, assistant professor in the Department of Strategic Management and Logistics at UEW and lecturer in the UEW EMBA program. Dr. Baraniecka, who specializes in strategy, futurology, logistics (including space logistics), and ethical and sustainable aspects of business, presented the following lecture:

„Logistyka kosmiczna i międzyplanetarne łańcuchy dostaw a zrównoważona eksploracja kosmosu”.

Participants were able to look at logistics and supply chains from an interplanetary perspective and consider how sustainable space exploration can impact the economy and business on Earth.

The festive and cosmic atmosphere was complemented by sweet touches – during the meeting, as well as during the last two EMBA meetings, students were presented with homemade gingerbread cookies prepared by Professor Maja Kiba-Janiak EMBA Director. These symbolic yet deeply personal gifts created a unique atmosphere of closeness, appreciation, and shared celebration of the end of the year.

We would like to thank all participants – both those present in person and online – for their active participation, inspiring questions and interesting discussions.

We wish you a peaceful and warm Christmas and prosperity, health and many professional (and perhaps even cosmic) successes in the New Year!
