🌟 FBC Summary: Do math lovers make better decisions? 🤔
During Friday’s FBC meeting, we had the opportunity to listen to a fascinating lecture entitled “Do people who like math make better decisions? The role of numerical abilities in improving decision-making quality through psychological insights.” 🔢🧠
During the lecture we explored:
✅ How numerical skills affect decision quality – from everyday choices to key business decisions.
✅ The role of psychology in understanding why some people make more rational decisions than others.
✅ The relationship between love of math and risk-taking – do numbers really help us make better judgments?
✅ How to develop numerical competence to increase confidence and decision accuracy.
This meeting showed that mathematics is not just about numbers – it is a tool that allows us to better understand the world and predict the consequences of our actions. 📈
We would like to thank speakers Michal Scibirowski and Jakub Traczyk and all participants for active discussion and inspiring questions! 🙌
We look forward to more opportunities to exchange ideas and explore together what the future holds. 🔜 The next FBC meeting is on April 11.
