30th anniversary of the EMBA Program

On November 5th, 1993, the first classes were held as part of the Master of Business Administration Management Studies.

On this occasion, last Saturday we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the EMBA Program. On this occasion, last Saturday we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the EMBA Program. The Jubilee ceremony was honored by the speeches of the Rector, prof. Andrzej Kaleta, initiator and first director of the program, prof. Ewa Konarzewska-Gubała, prof. Marzena Stor – Program Director in 2016-2020 and current Director prof. Maja Kiba-Janiak.

During the ceremony, thanks were given to everyone who made outstanding contributions to the creation and development of the program, including members of the EMBA Council, lecturers prof. Krzysztof Jajuga, prof. Diarmuid Bradley and prof. Michael Morley, professors from the University of Neuchatel in Switzerland: prof. Michał Kostecki prof. Katarzyna Jagodzińska, members of the EMBA Alumni Association, as well as students and graduates.

It was a time of memories and meetings after many years, but also, thanks to the lecture of prof. Krzystof Obłój, a precursor of modern management concepts, entitled “Challenges and uncertainties: how to think strategically?”, an opportunity for reflection.

The celebrations ended with a concert performed by this year’s graduates of the program, Katarzyna Wójcik and Radosław Sołtys, who encouraged everyone to sing together to the sounds of cult hits.

During the ceremony, the Jubilee Book was presented, the motto of which is “You can see success from above.”

We would like to thank all guests and the numerous graduates and students for their presence during the Jubilee celebrations!
