{"id":12823,"date":"2024-10-14T12:40:02","date_gmt":"2024-10-14T10:40:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/emba.uew.pl\/friday-business-club-18-10-at-1800\/"},"modified":"2024-10-23T13:15:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-23T11:15:14","slug":"friday-business-club-18-10-at-1800","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emba.uew.pl\/en\/friday-business-club-18-10-at-1800\/","title":{"rendered":"Friday Business Club 18.10 at 18:00"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Friday Business Club is back!<\/p>\n\n<p>We invite you to the first Friday Business Club meeting this academic year on Friday, October 18 at 6:00 p.m., which will be held in person in room 213 in building Z of the University of Economics, as well as via broadcast in the MS Teams application. <\/p>\n\n<p>The meeting will feature: Prof. Barbara Mr\u00f3z-Gorgo\u0144 \u2013 Professor at the University of Economics in Wroc\u0142aw, Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of Kotler Impact Poland, Vice-Chairwoman of the Western Chamber of Commerce Council, advisor to many Polish and international companies and corporations in the field of marketing, development strategy and PR. From 2022 &#8211; visiting professor at Kasetsart University in Bangkok. Barbara Mr\u00f3z-Gorgo\u0144 is a consultant and specialist in brand and company strategy, researcher and scientist in one. In her career, she has already given over 30 &#8220;power speeches&#8221;, co-hosted podcasts. She also regularly conducts training and workshops for many renowned companies (domestic and foreign), operating both on the Polish and global market. She is the author of many scientific publications, including the book &#8220;Rebranding. Strategic change for organizations&#8221;, published by PWN, which received the prestigious distinction &#8220;Economicus 2020&#8221; &#8211; awarded by the selection of the Competition Chapter by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. Co-author of the Polish edition of the book: Fundamentals of Modern Marketing \u2013 a compendium of knowledge prepared together with the world marketing guru \u2013 professor Philip Kotler.        <\/p>\n\n<p>Lecture Topic: &#8220;The Power of Brand&#8221;<br\/>Is a brand a thing? How to treat a brand? Why are brands worth a fortune? And what is branding?
